I got a menu in the mail, and despite some silly reviews, we tried it and were not disappointed at all. Ordered several things to try out a new pizza place, and everything was good. Philly style (cheesesteak) pizza, Calzone, Onion petals, wings and loaded fries were all great. I likely had 20 pizza joints closer, but I'm glad I tried Big Sam's. I will certainly go back again, and they definitely deserve a try from any review skeptics.
I am extremely surprised to see the negative reviews. I know this place about 7 years. It’s a very friendly and inviting place, very clean food station and eating area, always fresh and excellent food. I usually place my orders over the phone or mobile apps and never have been given by the wrong food. And yes, this place has the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had.
I ordered a gourmet pizza and grilled chicken caesar salad. Coming from a family of restaurant owners, I'm not easy to please but everything was very fresh and delicious! The best part about my experience was the service. The young lady on the phone was very nice, knowledgeable about the products and extremely accommodating about a special request that was not on the menu. They delivered in less time than estimated but we were missing something. When I called to let them know, it was no problem to get money back or have them deliver it. They had it at my house quickly, along with some complimentary food for the inconvenience. Who does this? People who really care about their customers!
We ordered "the works" pizza, Sicilian style as delivery. The pizza came as a regular (which made my wife very sad, as she likes the crispy of Sicilian) but it was still "the world" . Even though the order was wrong, the pizza actually was seasoned extremely well. Probably one of the best tasting pizza I have had in a while. So even though the style was wrong, the actual pizza tasted great. We will order again, just in person to make sure the style is right.
Just had a large plane pizza under 20 delivered first Phone person was fast to take my order and give me a time and total no wait second And I must say the delivery came a little quicker than I expected not the 35 minutes i was told, so third Delivery driver was fast and frindly and had exact change,4th and the Pizza was absolutely the way my family likes it.5th ..althrough we have eaten at Big Sam's Pizza befor this was our first pizza as a family and for once we all love the same pizza. thanks for the peaceful Friday evening dinner great food.
I tried Big Sam's Pizza. I ordered a cheese steak. They give you an option where you can order it on garlic bread. So I got it on garlic bread. They use sirloin steak fresh rolls and cheese and of course steak. The service was excellent the food stations were very clean. Also the eating area.
